  • Medical University of Gdansk, Poland (English Medium)
    The medical university of gdańsk is the largest public medical university in the northern poland. The university provides education to near 6 000 students, ph.D. And postgraduate students.

    The medical university of gdańsk was founded on october 8th 1945. Its history is connected to the centuries-old tradition of surgical practice associated at the local surgeon guild, as well as the medical teaching and research at the gdańskie gimnazjum akademickie (atheneum gedanense) established in 1558.

    Candidates from all of the world have a possibility to apply for a 6-year M.D. Programme at English Division, Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Gdańsk. The extended curriculum is based on strict European and US standards. After having graduated from the Faculty of Medicine students receive a diploma of physician (M.D.) and subsequently they can apply for a license to practice medicine in their country. The Faculty educates 680 foreign students and all classes are conducted in English. Students come from Sweden, United States of America, Saudi Arabia, Great Britain, Norway, Germany and Spain.

IELTS Not Required:
Each candidate need to attend interview through Skype communicator with University admission officer. The final acceptance decision belongs to University authorities.

 

Entry exam for Medicine programme: Compulsory online exam at the level of High School.

Pre Medical Course:
It can be joined by students, who failed on-line entry exam for Medicine programme or for students, whose High School Diploma marks are not good enough (biology & chemistry).

 

Documents checklist for Poland:

– full filled and signed candidate’s application form (will be provided by consultancy);

– a copy of High School Diploma (10th + 12th class) or its equivalent in candidate’s native language certified by candidate’s school or public notary;

– an English translation of above original documents, translated and certificated by candidate’s school or by a sworn translator (does not apply to documents in English);

– a photocopy of the applicant’s passport certified by a public notary;

– a copy of birth certificate certified by a public notary (only for medicine programme);

– two recent photographs signed at the back (size 35×45 mm, head not covered) – after arrival to Poland;

– certificate confirming English language course (optional).

 

Note:

  1. Certification or public notary is not needed during preliminary stage of the recruitment, but should be done before applying for visa in Embassy.

  2. For Medicine Programme – candidate need to hold High School Diploma with grades in biology chemistry and English (marks minimum 60%).
